Guidelines for Students

PERIODICAL EXAMINATION GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS

  • With an objective to reduce the carbon foot print, it has been decided to post the room allocation ONLY in the website http://ac.amrita.ac.in on the previous day evening, for the next day forenoon session examination and in the morning for the afternoon session.
  • Make sure that you are registered in AUMS for all the courses you are planning to write the examination.
  • Admit Card is mandatory. You will end up running around the corners on the day of examination if the admit card is not produced. For one day, you can write the exam by submitting letter signed by HoD. Second day, you need a duplicate of the admit card, that will be issued from the Academic Cell. (We are planning to do away with admit card from the next examination).
  • Permission is not granted to write the examination if you don’t possess valid college identity card in the examination hall. Your photo shall be visible clearly on the ID card. If your ID card is mutilated, get a new one from Administrative Office.
  • Your name shall be present in the attendance sheet for the answer sheet valuation. The results will be withheld otherwise.
  • Students shall enter the examination hall by 09:15 for the forenoon session & by 01:15 for the afternoon session. They shall not be roaming in the corridors after the examination.
  • Signature on the attendance sheet while returning the answer booklet is important and compulsory.
  • In case of any malpractice, the student shall be given a new answer script. Student has to admit the same in writing on the old answer sheet. Invigilator shall counter sign on the same sheet with appropriate comments. If student has any appeal, he/she can do so later, in writing to Deputy Controller of Examinations.
